I don't know why, but pictures of him eating cereal and walking around in his big boy underwear never get old, or less funny, to me. He requests cereal six out of seven days of the week, even when I try to offer him something else.
Today he had his follow-up appointment for his tubes. I didn't have a good feeling, since on Saturday I took him to our pediatrician because of a fever and eye goop, and he had an ear infection. Turns out that his tubes have fallen out (after only seven months). If he has 1-2 more infections, they will remove his adenoids and put the tubes in again. The good news is it's spring, the bad news is he has an ear infection and the tubes JUST fell out.
Christian didn't really mind the doctor looking in his ears and in his nose, but when he wanted him to open his mouth, Christian gave a defiant "NO" and turned away. Which I really don't get - of all the places, I would think the mouth would be the safest. But he stood his ground, which made the doctor pull out the stick and made me hold him down. Christian was MAD, but he got over it quick. Although he refused to tell the doctor good-bye.
Hopefully, we won't be making another visit anytime soon.
