Probably just having children in general brings a sense of nostalgia to everything we do at this time of year. I can recall when I was a little girl and our calendar looked just like this - with one more ornament to go before Christmas. My kids are just as excited as I remember being. This is the first order of business every morning, putting up the ornament. I love passing on traditions!

I take pictures. This blog is a way for me to capture the every day moments in this season of my life before it becomes too foggy in my memory for me to recall. This is a tangible reminder of what my life was like, what we did, what was important to us, how we spent our days. These are the every day matters, because to me, every day matters.
