On this last day of July and our second day of school, Ansley woke up complaining of her throat hurting. Then she says she needs to go to the doctor. It's a rare day that a child requests to go to the doctor. So, I took her, and the test came back positive for strep. She was quite puny today. My poor girl. She's on antibiotics, and I'm told she will be feeling much better tomorrow. (This is the first time she's ever had strep throat.)

I take pictures. This blog is a way for me to capture the every day moments in this season of my life before it becomes too foggy in my memory for me to recall. I had two pints of blueberries in my fridge and I didn't want them to go bad.
Also, I have a problem. I have this almost constant need to bake something. I thought 'homemade blueberry muffins would be good for breakfast' and off we went, stirring and mixing and blueberry-ing. These also have this crumb topping that is absolutely delicious. They were really yummy. Now, what's next?

Today our new Target opened RIGHT DOWN THE STREET FROM US! I am so excited, and have been so excited to watch it go up! We of course had to go and check it out (Avery went too, I'm just holding her). And next week, the new Publix opens right next door to the Target - yay! Convenient!
