I took all three kids to the doctor today because they still just don't seem right. I felt like they would probably all need antibiotics for sinus infections. But instead, Ansley has a double ear infection (and was in tears by the time we got to the doctor), Christian has a sinus infection and wheezing in his lungs, and Avery has a sinus infection and a double ear infection. Wowsers! I think this is the most medicine we have ever had in this house at once.

Today our volcano erupted, and the kids were quite joy-filled about it. They made it yesterday, and then it had to dry overnight. (This is from our Science curriculum, Exploring Creation with Astronomy, which we LOVE.) We all thought it was a lot of fun, and even got several "ooooooohhhhhh's" from Avery!

Twenty one months. Why was she shirtless? Because before naptime, every time I tried to put her shirt on, she hollered "NONONO!" and ripped it off. So I gave up. If we were going to the store, I would have insisted she wear a shirt. But for naptime? She wins. Oh, toddlers! How adorably cute and exasperating all at the same time, and within the span of thirty seconds.

Poor girl. No school or dance for her today. She is so tired, and it's very strange because she is my high energy child. This was around 11 this morning. Christian and I actually did school today because he is feeling better.

The kids still have low grade fevers, so they coudn't go to their co-op today. So we had a little art lesson and all drew and painted Mayflowers. I thought they turned out really cute! The top one is mine, the one on the left is Ansley's, and Christian's is on the right (the orange is the sunset). I liked them so much I had to display them on the window!

A sick day around here - the kids are really pitiful with high fevers and coughs. So there was lots of lounging around today, mixed in with some sleeping, and some iPadding. Christian is really enjoying this interactive Bible app!

This was the view for the majority of the day. I knew when Christian refused breakfast this morning, we had another one down. It is very rare for a sickness to knock these two down, especially Christian. But they are both sleeping a lot, not eating much, and lying here most of the day. It really makes you appreciate being healthy when there is so much sickness in the house!

Ansley is very sick this morning. Colds usually don't phase my kids much, but she has a high fever, nasty sounding cough, and is very puny and lethargic. She slept on and off on the couch today and just acted like she definitely was not feeling well. Meanwhile, John was getting some projects done around the house, and Christian was SUCH a helpful boy! It was so sweet to see him hauling stuff, helping John back the truck up, and get things organized alongside his Dad. He is such a sweet boy!
