The sun was too harsh as they were sitting at the end of the table, but it was such a sweet moment I had to take it. Some moments beg to be captured, and if I had asked them to move to a better spot, I'm sure I would have lost the moment. Avery is all about her big sister, Annie, as she calls her, so it's rare that she goes to Christian and asks for something. But this morning she went to Christian and said "Read book?" and that's just what he did. I love this shot, harsh sunlight and all.

I take pictures. This blog is a way for me to capture the every day moments in this season of my life before it becomes too foggy in my memory for me to recall. This is a tangible reminder of what my life was like, what we did, what was important to us, how we spent our days. These are the every day matters, because to me, every day matters.
