The kids going to bed with their new quilts. I worked secretly to get these made for them by Christmas (which was especially tricky since my sewing machine broke halfway in and took three weeks to get repaired!). But I finished them, and thought they turned out super cute. (They are the same type of quilt that I made for Avery, and the kids have been asking for their own ever since.)

This is what I do.
I take pictures. This blog is a way for me to capture the every day moments in this season of my life before it becomes too foggy in my memory for me to recall. This is a tangible reminder of what my life was like, what we did, what was important to us, how we spent our days. These are the every day matters, because to me, every day matters.
