Today we headed to Gatlinburg and the Aquarium of the Smokies. The kids enjoyed seeing all the fish, sharks, turtles, sting rays and penguins. Ansley absolutely had to pet a sting ray, but she never could get one. An employee told us they were going to feed them and she would be able to then, so we waited for probably twenty minutes or so, and finally they led the sting rays around the edge of the pool and Ansley finally got her wish (and seven times, to boot). A fun day!

I take pictures. This blog is a way for me to capture the every day moments in this season of my life before it becomes too foggy in my memory for me to recall. This is a tangible reminder of what my life was like, what we did, what was important to us, how we spent our days. These are the every day matters, because to me, every day matters.

I remember when we were there together that Christian and Lydia were in strollers. Time flies!
