Notice anything different about her? She's decided that she's a princess today. And I believe her. ;)
Today we went to the store for a little "craft run" (see photo-a-day) and she came across this Disney Princess book complete with view finder and small little disks. She said that she wanted it, but when I turned it over and saw it was $24.99, I said, hmmm, maybe another day. And she said "How 'bout for my birthday, Mama?" Since when does she know about getting things for her birthday??! I'm clueless - but I do know that this little girl is going to be SO excited when her birthday does come around. She told the lady as we checked out "all this is for my birthday." And the lady says "Oh, is it today? Happy birthday!" Ah, well, no need to correct strangers.
Came across this today, and thought it was so sweet. I'll end on this note:
God made the world with its towering trees, majestic mountains and restless seas, then paused and said "It needs one more thing -- someone to laugh and dance and sing, to walk in the woods and gather flowers, to commune with nature in the quiet hours." So God made little girls with laughing eyes and bouncing curls, with joyful hearts and infectious smiles, enchanting ways and feminine wiles. And when He'd completed the task He'd begun, He was pleased and proud of the work He'd done. For the world, when seen through little girls' eyes, greatly resembles paradise.
Made me laugh aloud - which is always interesting in cube world at the office. Love the crown! The quote was awesome - I hope I get to experience having a little girl of my own some day - however a little boy that looks like his dad will be just as precious :) Can't wait to see what you are having this time around. See you tonight.

They are such little sponges and soak so much of what the world says and does. They observe and catch every little detail in each part of their amazing little lives!!
