Maybe God is trying to tell me to go with my gut. I really wanted to avoid our two "social" situations over the weekend, since this is Ansley's birthday week, but we didn't. And granted, it's usually my paranoia and she's usually fine, but this time she got sick. I'm so bummed. I think if there is a sick child within a five mile radius of Ansley, she will get it. She's taking it pretty well - a cold that came on her yesterday, and hopefully will be on its way out by Saturday. (Unfortunately we weren't able to attend the first Moms N More meeting yesterday, or her dance class today.) John got home this evening, and Ansley was out cold on him. My parents arrive tomorrow, and I had really hoped she would be healthy and happy. I guess one out of two isn't bad.
However, she was very excited to tell John when he got home about these that arrived in the mail today: (and magically perked right back up since we gave in - you know, because she's sick - and will let her open one shortly. :))
Thanks, Nelson and Wendy!
Our kitchen renovation progressed today, but what we were told would take one day will take two. So they will be back tomorrow and finish it. It is looking great! I will post pictures tomorrow when it is complete!
Please pray for sickness to go away as quickly as it came, and for no one else to get it!
I'm so sorry the birthday girl is sick! I remember how bad I felt for Hannah last year when she had fever with strep throat two days before her 2nd birthday - which is also Christmas day too. I hope that seeing her grandparents tomorrow will help her feel better and that she will be well enough to enjoy all the fun of her 3rd birthday and all the family and friends coming for her pink princess party. :)

Hope the early present makes the yucky go away.
And ALWAYS trust your gut Mom.

We'll be praying for a speedy recovery and that no one else (including guest :) ) receive the bug. It will all work out though - not to fear!
