Granna and Papa Joe took Ansley out this afternoon for some one on one time, and John went to get a haircut, so Christian and I found ourselves home alone. What do Mama and son do while everyone's away? Take pictures, of course. So here are some photos from his first of many photo shoots:
His hair is actually pretty blonde - I guess black and white makes it look darker than it is. I had forgotten how easy it is to get a newborn to cooperate with a photo shoot. Much easier than a three-year-old photo shoot, where the subject insists she wears pajamas ,'fixes' her own hair, and wants to see every picture that is snapped. :)
Oh Megan, that is just SO precious! He is just beautiful, and there is nothing better than watching a newborn baby sleeping! I love it. Sounds like you are just soaking it all in! :)

Just had to let you know we were looking for blogs. He looks as cute as when we left him. Can't wait to see you all again.

Just wanted to say what a beautiful baby and congratulations! I was gone out of town since Thursday for a work project that I'm done with now so I just now got to review all the blogs. Hope you are doing well and look forward to talking with you soon.

Congratulations Megan, John and Ansley. I look at your blog often and was so happy today to read that everything went so well with Christian's birthday. You have such a wonderful way of recording the events of your family, Megan. I just love reading all your entries. What a beautiful family you have. I would tell you to enjoy every moment, but you already do. Love to all.
