Lifesong: Life Today

Here's a quick recap of our day.

We started the day with dancing. I put on some dancing music while I was fixing breakfast (Ansley still had her nightgown on), and the kids had a blast. This is more of what I see these days - Ansley and Christian having fun together.

Then there was lots of playing in the playroom - games (one of Ansley's current favorites is Caribou), puzzles and there were lots of balls that Christian carried around. Then around lunchtime John came up to the playroom and it was a Daddy Tackle!

After lunch/nap/quiet time, it was time to get some fresh air. Some yard work was accomplished.

What, you aren't dressed like this when you do yard work? Hmm. There were those who participated in the yard work, and there were those who watched. And took pictures.

We pulled out some bubbles, which cracked Christian up. Then the yard work was forgotten, and the dirt seemed like a good idea for everyone. Ansley found some squirmy wormies, as she calls them.

And Christian, well, there may have been some dirt eating involved at this point in the day.

Interesting to note, yesterday Ansley requested pork chops for dinner tonight, so that's what we had. The first time she's had a request for something like that (she's requested cookies or ice cream for dinner before, but not pork chops).

Then it was bathtime, a little more playtime, and bedtime.
