More Slip Sliding, Anyone?

As you may have noticed, we have had such a great time slip and sliding this summer, so we decided to host a Slip 'N Slide party this afternoon. We had the Ultimate Slip and Slide, of course, the jumpy house, and lots of food plus homemade strawberry ice cream and blueberry cobbler to end the evening. It was a great day for the kids....well, and for the Dads, as you'll see.

Here are Ansley's friends Karen and Sarah with Christian. He's not real sure if he wants to go, but he was talking up a storm about something.

As soon as the kids got going, the Dads couldn't resist. Here is Chris and Jackson going down together.

Rylee wasn't so sure she was going to enjoy it, as you can see when she was going down with Chad, her Dad: (Chad didn't bring his bathing suit, but he couldn't resist the call of the Slip and Slide!)

The littler ones were a little unsure, but they had a lot of fun between the swingset and the pool. Here is Hudson enjoying the swing:

I tried to get photos of everyone, but now I realize I missed all the moms, plus Jacob, Julia, baby Reece and baby Rob. I'll have to get better about remembering to get everyone!

Then it was time to enjoy burgers and dogs, plus yummy desserts!

 Here is a most of the group shot - there are some moms in there after all! It was a very enjoyable afternoon spending time with friends!

I know I've seen your slip-n-slide super deluxe extended tarp photos before but I just have to say again how awesome it looks. I'm happy to see your backyard full of friends!!! :) Just wanted to say I prayed for Christian this morning and will be checking back later to check on how he is recovering.
