Fear and worry- the two things I struggle with the most- almost daily actually. Every little pain, or twitch I'm convinced is something. Every migraine I get I worry is 'the one'- the one that is actually an aneurism or something else along those lines. And recently I had my own scare with an annual check up where my mind went to very, very dark places. You're not alone- and I'll definitely be praying for more knowing, and less fearing! Thanks for opening up and sharing.

Leigh Ann

I was wondering about your doctor's appointment. Thanks for sharing. We will definitely be praying for you. That's a great song, which actually spoke to me tremendously yesterday, and a great verse.

Praying for you. 2 Timothy 1:7 "For the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and sound mind." This is my life verse. It's the verse that I cling to on a weekly basis, at least. Thank you for the courage to put this "out there" so that we can pray for you. Make sure to give me an update so that I can pray specifically.

BTW: Update...I'm putting in 3 times a week on the eliptical. I do weights 1-2 times a week. It's not awesome, but it's getting there. I still feel better knowing that I'm trying. Now, I just need to work on my diet. I've realized how badly I eat sometimes. Yikes! So glad you are keeping me accountable. Also glad that you're doing well! Let's rock!

Megan - Thank you for sharing with us so that we can specifically pray over you in this concern. May He hold you and give you the peace and comfort you need. Know that our family will be lifting you up in our prayers.

Praying for you!

Megan, I will be praying for you. When is your appointment with the surgeon? Thanks for being willing to share what you are going through right now. I'm praying.

Matthew 6:32-34 (MSG)
"What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God's giving. People who don't know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. 34"Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes."

I love reading familiar verses in different translations - God uses it to whisper more truth...deeper truth...in my ear. Be encouraged and please keep us updated. I'll be praying for you!

Praying for you, Megan!!

Christina Sallustio

Praying for you too, Megan. You know that, but I just wanted to remind you again ;)

Lance Perry

Megan, worry in sequence. Find out information, then worry. They'll probably do an MRI and then maybe a biopsy. Been down that road, and I'll help anyway I can. Lance
