John left on September 3 for Chile for a week, and then Brazil for the second week. And it's no secret, I don't like being by myself. I've never been to a movie alone, or out to eat alone....I like the company of others, preferably my husband.
But when he must be gone, I have to pack my schedule with lots of company so I won't get too lonely. Right after dropping John off at the airport, we headed to Nashville to spend the week with Mimi, as well as JonJon and Missy.
This is Reba McIntyre's home. We passed by on our pontoon boat ride.
Christian and I returned home on Wednesday, and Ashley and Hamilton came to spend the weekend with us on Thursday.
Then on Tuesday, Mimi and Ansley returned, just in time to celebrate Ansley's birthday together.
(Birthday gift from the Jansens - make your own doll t shirts. Ansley loved it, and wanted to make them right away!)
Oops. Wrong order. This was taken the Sunday before they left. I'm seriously lazy if I can't go back and correct the order, huh? But I can't.
I wonder who taught Christian how to write that?
We are so thankful that John is now home, and I am extremely grateful to my Mom and Ashley for taking time out of their schedules to keep me from getting too lonely!
It was a pretty busy two weeks, so I'd like to say that it went by quickly, but it really did seem like forever since we had been a family. Three cheers for being a family again!
Hip, hip, hooray! I know what you mean about filling your schedule when the man of the house is away. Glad y'all are all back together. Fun pictures!
And, OK...you seriously DO.NOT.EVEN.LOOK.PREGNANT. in the picture of you, Ashley, and the boys.

It was SO much fun. How often will we get another opportunity like that? Glad we could come and provide some company for awhile :) Very happy you are back together as a family :)

I got to thinking - maybe as a thank you gift - you could send me all the pictures :)
