We belong to a homeschool Field Trip group, which means every month there are LOTS of moms and kids that get to go do something fun and entertaining. This month we went to a local pumpkin patch.
Ansley, of course, always finds the more unique things to do, like jumping across hay bales.
There was a fun train ride, which was Christian's favorite part, he said. It really was cute to see this long train full of smiling kids. Here, Christian and Noah get the very first car and are ready to go!
Ansley and Keris enjoyed riding together as well. Who says trains are just for boys? I'm pretty sure they had just as much fun!
The Corn Box was a huge hit - a sand box, except filled with kernels of corn instead. All the kids loved to play in here!
Sometimes in random places you get one of those shots that takes your breath away. This is one of those for me. I just wish I could freeze this face. I often tell Christian that he is not allowed to get any older, because he is just the cutest three year old ever. He always responds that no matter how old he gets, he will still snuggle. (I guess he senses that snuggling is important to his Mama.) I'm holding him to that.
The only problem with this photo is that NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO CUT BOY HAIR. And it drives me crazy. You can really see the butcher job that the latest haircut brought on. Lovely.
We also enjoyed a corn maze, hay ride, seeing lots of animals, feeding some animals, lots of inflatables and a picnic lunch. It was a very fun field trip day!
Looks like fun! You are so blessed to have an easy 3 year old, it has been a tough year for us. I think year two was way easier than three. Just wait till you have hold your baby girl, you will see Christian as such a big boy! He is adorable. :)
Ditto on the boy haircuts. I have been on the hunt for someone that won't hack my boys hair and give them the Three Stooges bangs. What's up with that?
So nice to have such a fun group to share good times with.

We have our pumpkin patch trip planned for this coming weekend. Not a field trip, just family. Your pictures make me antsy to go!

Looks like everyone had fun. We are going with out homeschool group next week. We haven't been since Lydia was a baby, so I'm hoping she enjoys it.

Oh my goodness my child would've FLIPPED over that train ride...wow...seriously flipped. What is it with fall and really fun outdoor activities? We've been doing a lot too. I don't feel like there is as much any other season (orchards, pumpkin patches, farms, fairs, etc.).

You are so right about the boy haircut thing.... I have gone everywhere, even to top salons, only to leave disappointed. And this weekend, I took Alex to a new salon. She took an HOUR to cut his hair. She was so flustered that she couldn't even look at me, and the salon wouldn't even charge me for the cut. It was the weirdest thing that has happened to me in quite a while!

uggg, we have the SAME problem with Caleb's hair! Everytime we get it cut we try somewhere different and always leave with the same unsatisfied reaction! Christian is still darling, though! :)
