I was in the bathroom with the door shut last week, throwing up, when this note flew underneath the door.
"Hi Mom. I hope you will feel better Mommy. I don't like it either. I throw up sometimes too. Love, Ansley"
It's funny how little things can improve your attitude, isn't it? I wish I could say it improved my throwing up, but it unfortunately didn't. But at least I was happier while puking, right?
This pregnancy. Have I mentioned it has been a little bit rough? And did I also say that John has been in school this past week? Just checking. This is his last week, thankfully, and then he will be an official UT graduate.
I found out at my last doctor's appointment that I am anemic, so I am on a prescription iron supplement. That explains why I've been so tired; I thought I was just being lazy. Good to have a reason! And then for three days last week, I threw up a lot. A LOT. So that was kinda rough.
There is also another lump in my breast (you may remember I had the same thing almost two years ago) and my doctor wants me to go get an ultrasound this Monday at noon.
I would really appreciate your prayers on all these things, and a continued healthy pregnancy, as well as normal test results on Monday. I have definitely felt slightly overwhelmed and emotional lately, and by slightly I mean a lot. My mother in law is coming tomorrow to help out for a few days (John will be in class all day tomorrow as well), and then my Mom will be here for a few days, so I am very thankful for the extra help and support.
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and self control." 2 Timothy 1:7
Thank you, friends!
Just said a prayer for you, friend. I will continue to lift you up, too. So sorry you're having a tough pregnancy--before you know it though you'll be holding that precious baby girl and it will have all been worth it. Easier said than done though; my 3rd pregnancy was the hardest, too. Will be remembering you and thinking of you.

Ansley has such a sweet and encouraging spirit. Could it be because she has you for an example? :) I'm so sorry that you have been so sick. I will pray for you! I will also pray for you as you go for your ultrasound tomorrow. "I lift my eyes up to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from you. Maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 121. He made you and He loves you and He knows you. He knows your body and it's struggles right now, this precious baby you carry, and how your heart is burdened with facing all this with your husband away. I'm thankful that moms will be there with you this week. Praying!
