These are just a few things that I've really been loving lately. Or, some of them, for quite a long time now. But either way, I thought I'd share.
And I really want us all to have "....when the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I'm feeling saaaadddd...." in our heads the rest of today. Maybe tomorrow, too.
This little tube is probably up there with my tea in terms of how many I think I must have in order to maintain my obsession. I LOVE CO Bigelow's Mentha Lip Shine. And this stash? It's just what's in my bathroom. I also have one in my purse, by my cell phone, in a drawer downstairs, in my nightstand and in my diaper bag, just in case I may need one. I do use it all the time, because I can't stand chapped lips. They drive me crazy. My lips are probably addicted to this stuff, but it's totally worth it. (And at Christmas they come out with all kinds of fun holiday scents. Bonus!)
Feet are another of my weird obsessions. I can't stand to have dirty feet before going to bed. And I also like to maintain that oh-so-smooth feeling right after you have a pedicure. This stuff does the trick. I use it before I go to bed and it keeps my feet so soft. It's important to have soft feet, you know.
A Rubbermaid container that I got on sale at Target. I've always put my tea in a pitcher, but then, THEN one day! True story: I was canning tomatoes, and I put a pot of them in the fridge because I ran out of time. The next morning I pull out my tea pitcher to start my day, like always, and my tea tasted like tomatoes. It was the GROSSEST THING EVER. I literally spit it out in the sink and my kids laughed like maniacs. Now? I don't have that problem. Granted I haven't ever put a whole pot of tomatoes in my fridge since then, but the whole infusing tea with the scents in my fridge never did appeal to me after that.
I've taken a likin' to Greek yogurt. It definitely has a different flavor, but it is yummy. And specifically Chobani lemon yogurt is SO yum. Yogurt is a super food you know. Pinterest told me so. So blueberry yogurt must be like an over the top, super-super food. But it's not as good as the lemon. And all Greek yogurt is not created equal. It must be Chobani. Anything else is just Chob. I don't really know what that means, but I'm leaving it.
I feel like I might be the last person on Earth to get this book, but it's really so good. I'm in a season that is short on time, and this is a great way to start my morning. They are short devotions, with a few verses to go along with it. Sometimes I have time to look up those verses and read them, and sometimes I don't. But in this season it's working for me.
So those are my favorite things right now. What are yours?
Jesus Calling is definitely one of my favorite things, too. And, you didn't mention this, but Yankee Candles are also another fave. They just smell. So. Good. Makes the whole house smell good, and puts this mama in a relaxed mood. :)
