Are you confused by my title? I better explain. Avery is four months away from turning three, and here's what we know.
She is downright hysterical. When she wants to be, of course.
She is a girl of extremes. She's very happy, or very mad. Very angry, or very glad.
She announced two days ago that she wanted to start pee-peeing on the potty. So that's what we did. Today she has pee peed every time and we've had no accidents.
She is starting to give up naps. Meaning, if she does nap, she isn't ready for bed until much past her bedtime. If she doesn't nap, she's generally pretty grumpy in the evening, but is ready to pass out by 8 pm (sometimes before).
She is very much aware of what's going on. She knows when the kids are sleeping together, and she wants to join them. She knows that the kids are taking turns getting some one on one time with Mimi, and she wants that, too. She knows someone is getting a treat, so she wants one too. There's not much getting anything past her these days.
She loves being silly, and when we laugh at her, it further motivates her silly shenanigans.
She absolutely loves Chick-Fil-A nuggets. Bless her.
She loves wearing dresses. Often Ansley gets her dressed in the morning and then she will run to me and say "Look, Mama! I am pitty." (She's also very humble.)
She is very cute. People often comment about her when we are in public, most often on her hair. Sometimes, however, if someone tells her she is cute, something inside her must not like the attention and she will scream "NOOOOOOOOOO!" causing the poor stranger to wonder what went wrong.
She continues to be our strongest willed child. She can be very exhausting and demanding, but I can notice changes as we head towards three. Good changes. She doesn't get mad as often. You can reason with her (some of the time). She isn't quite as fiesty.
She still loves her BunBun, and must have it every night. She has also acquired Pink BunBun, that she stole from our friends, the Coopers, when we were visiting them in Nashville.
She is becoming more engaged at school time, and I can keep her occupied with activities and toys. Now that I think about it, she hasn't colored on the walls in several months, at least.
She loves all things pwincess (AKA princess).
She is crazy about ice cream and chocolate.
And chocolate chip cookies. And her Daddy's barbecue.
It is so fun watching her grow! I love watching Ansley and Christian care for her and play with her, and I love seeing the relationship between the three of them flourish. What a blessing!
