This is what I do.


  • I take pictures. This blog is a way for me to capture the every day moments in this season of my life before it becomes too foggy in my memory for me to recall. This is a tangible reminder of what my life was like, what we did, what was important to us, how we spent our days. These are the every day matters, because to me, every day matters.

Yum! Since I married Derek, I've learned how to put up garden vegetables for the freezer like corn, peas, green beans, etc. but I've never canned anything. That's great that you gave it a try and learned something new. You'll be glad when you open up your homemade sauce!

YAY for red tomatoes! Told you I bet they would all ripen at the same time. :)

So glad you have hopped on the "canning bandwagon." It's really fun once you get into it. And man, is it ever satisfying to open up a jar later in the season when your harvest is over.
