I take pictures. This blog is a way for me to capture the every day moments in this season of my life before it becomes too foggy in my memory for me to recall. This is a tangible reminder of what my life was like, what we did, what was important to us, how we spent our days. These are the every day matters, because to me, every day matters.

Started Baby Laundry today. At this point you should feel sorry for her, that she will hardly have a thing to wear after she's born. Considering this is two out of the six piles, and that's not counting the dresses that are hanging in her closet. Poor baby.
But Ansley and Christian really enjoyed helping sort, fold, and figure out where to put it. They are gonna be such great helpers, I can feel it!

I love tea. Did you know? Cold tea, hot tea, room temperature tea. Ok, not really on that last one. That would be gross. My family knows, because the kids got me this teapot for Christmas. It's so much fun. I love that it's HOT and that it whistles at me when it's done. It makes yummy hot tea after the kids are in bed and I'm relaxing on the couch. Ahhhhh.....

This has been the latest choice of transportation for Christian. It really goes along with his personality well. In case I haven't mentioned before, Christian is very......um, lazy. He has trouble finding motivation to move when it comes to picking up toys, cleaning his room, or carrying clothes to his room. Otherwise, he has plenty of energy. Strange, I know.

Ansley got the game "Pass the Pigs" in her stocking, and she's been dying to play it. So we all enjoyed several games of Pass the Pig this evening. Christian even got into it, and I must say it's a very good game for improving math skills!

I believe the "silly picture" will be one of those little memories that make my kids smile when they get older. We can't take group shots without one of them yelling "SILLY PICTURE!"
And it seems the silly ones always turn out to be my favorite.

A beautiful, wonderful Christmas surrounded by family and SNOW! Our very first white Christmas in the South. It was very exciting!

We headed to Market Square for our tradition of two years - ice skating! Ansley was very into it, and she was really good at skating on her own!
