I love getting all the Christmas cards this time of year, and seeing all the fun pictures, and seeing how much kids have grown for our friends we don't see as often. This little tree on our kitchen counter holds the Christmas cards, and it's such fun to look at them. We have gotten some really cute and clever cards this year!

This is what I do.
I take pictures. This blog is a way for me to capture the every day moments in this season of my life before it becomes too foggy in my memory for me to recall. This is a tangible reminder of what my life was like, what we did, what was important to us, how we spent our days. These are the every day matters, because to me, every day matters.

Today I'm trying to get an e-card ready to send to friends. I'm sorry you won't have a pretty card from us for your counter! I still like the traditional cards in the real mailbox - but not all the postage! I'm trying to simplify this year. Although there is no envelope - Merry Christmas from the McGills!
