Lots of pictures on this day. Our longtime friends, Aaron and Stephanie, were able to stop by and spend the night this evening. We haven't seen them in 15 years, since we were good friends as newlyweds in Texas. I was amazed at how much was the same after 15 years, and how we all just picked up where we left off and laughed and caught up. The picture on the left was taken when we lived in Texas, and those were my plaid pants that I let Stephanie borrow, but I can't remember exactly why. So of course, since I'm the picture-obsessed girl that I am, I had to recreate the picture. We laughed at how young we looked, and so enjoyed catching up with them. (In the photo on the right, we even realized we had on the same shirt, just different colors. Crazy!)

This is what I do.
I take pictures. This blog is a way for me to capture the every day moments in this season of my life before it becomes too foggy in my memory for me to recall. This is a tangible reminder of what my life was like, what we did, what was important to us, how we spent our days. These are the every day matters, because to me, every day matters.

June 28, 2013 Part I
