Today I set up a veterinarian's office for Avery while we got some school done. I never imagined it would be such a huge hit with ALL the kids! I set up a waiting room with chairs for the "patients" (stuffed animals), covered a table with a "sterile sheet" (soft blanket), and set out her play doctor's kit, some bandaids, toilet paper for gauze, q-tips, a dish of "alcohol" (water) for cleaning wounds, and a patient information form. All three kids played with it for awhile, but Avery played with it the longest. In this shot, Christian checked the vitals, Ansley bandaged the wound, and Avery filled out the patient sheet. I love imaginative days, and the fact that she saved over 15 stuffed animals!

This is what I do.
I take pictures. This blog is a way for me to capture the every day moments in this season of my life before it becomes too foggy in my memory for me to recall. This is a tangible reminder of what my life was like, what we did, what was important to us, how we spent our days. These are the every day matters, because to me, every day matters.
