It's a New Year's Eve tradition - my version of my favorite pizza ever, pear and gorgonzola. I only make it once a year, and it is so yummy. Mimi comes over to join us, and we play games and celebrate the new year (perhaps just a bit early). It's my favorite way to spend New Year's Eve!

I take pictures. This blog is a way for me to capture the every day moments in this season of my life before it becomes too foggy in my memory for me to recall. This is a tangible reminder of what my life was like, what we did, what was important to us, how we spent our days. These are the every day matters, because to me, every day matters.

December 31, 2014 Part II
I made our traditional fruit tart for New Year's Eve, and did a fancy updated version. Everyone agreed we liked the other one better. There's always next year! But it was still good, and Ansley was the fruit designer, as always.
